EXHIBITION TEXT
Home Ground reflects on the influence of the beautiful bush-land that surrounds the Gold Coast. Exploring the intrinsic connection between the bodies of three sisters, I was reminded that home to me is about the people I am closest with. I have never felt that the soil beneath our feet belongs to us. The soundscape evokes a dreamlike quality underscored by a constant rising tension to juxtapose the three golden bodies with a layer of unease.
